Following the announcement made by Michigan State University’s Provost to move summer session one courses online and suspending some academic and pre-college programs, the Office of Cultural & Academic Transitions is announcing that our summer MAGIC 2020 program will similarly be moved to virtual learning. In addition, OCAT is hopeful that we will be able to offer a shortened in-person version of MAGIC that will take place in late August. We will provide more updates on this restructuring as soon as we can.
While we value the significance of our MAGIC Peer Assistants, unfortunately, because of this new structure, OCAT will not be hiring MAGIC Peer Assistants for summer 2020.
