Advising

ADVISING
Providing support for our student leadership is one of OCAT’s top priorities. This support takes shape in many ways including serving as advisors for the four organizations (APASO, BSA, CRU, and NAISO) that make up the Council of Racial & Ethnic Students (CORES). CORES advisors are involved with all CORES eboards helping to guide them through effective program planning, the funding process, and the challenges with managing teams. Each year advisors begin the year with a collective CORES retreat while simultaneously assisting with individual group retreats.
