Meaghan Kozar received her PhD in American Studies at Michigan State University (MSU), a Master’s in English at Iowa State University and a BA in Art Education at Viterbo University. She has over two decades of experience teaching, advising and training in Higher Education. She is the former Assistant Director of MSU’s Asian Pacific American Studies Program and Student Success Program Coordinator for MSU’s Office of Cultural & Academic Transitions (OCAT). Her areas of expertise include communications, leadership training, and program development. Her passions include empowering emerging leaders, creating spaces for student expression, and bringing together diverse communities. She has previously served as the advisor for APASO (Asian Pacific American Student Organization), coordinated OCAT’s annual Spartan Remix, and led OCAT’s communications with website and social media management.

Since May of 2021, Meaghan has been serving in the role of Interim Project Manager for the Inclusive Campus Initiative, an initiative sponsored by the Office of the Senior Vice President for Student Life and Engagement.
