Meaghan Kozar is the Project Manager for the Inclusive Campus Initiative sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Student Life & Engagement at Michigan State University. Her work centers on supporting historically marginalized students and community needs through inclusive advocacy, problem-solving, building partnerships and removing barriers between students to staff and senior administration.

Meaghan received her PhD in American Studies at Michigan State University, an MA in English at Iowa State University and a BA in Art Education at Viterbo University. She is the former Assistant Director of MSU’s Asian Pacific American Studies Program and Student Success Program Coordinator for MSU’s Office of Cultural & Academic Transitions (OCAT).

She has over two decades of experience teaching, program development and training in Higher Education. Her areas of expertise include DEI inclusive practices and training, communications, leadership and program development. Her passions include empowering emerging leaders, creating spaces for student expression and bringing together diverse communities for learning and coalition building.
