ICI DEIB Campus Communities Lunches

What are the ICI DEIB Campus Communities Monthly Lunches?

ICI DEIB Campus Community monthly lunches are offered once a month in the Brody large private dining room. Spaces are limited to 50 staff, faculty, academic specialists and administrators on a first come first serve basis.

The purpose of these monthly lunches are to increase communications, promote collaboration, share updates with DEI projects, provide resources, ask questions, offer solutions and spotlight a campus DEI partner(s). As DEIB practitioners, finding opportunities to convene in a supportive space is necessary and important. This is also an opportunity to learn about DEIB efforts at MSU.

Campus Partner Document

(Includes presentations and information shared from “What’s on Your Mind?” portion of the lunch. Feel free to add to this ongoing document. Link is available and visible to anyone with link. If you would like to share a private matter, please contact Meaghan at kozarmea@msu.edu.)

Spring Dates TBD

We begin a more formal presentation by 12:15 p.m. to allow participants to get their lunches and connect with each other. Our formal presentations center on updates from the ICI, the DEI Strategic Plan followed by campus partner highlights featuring a guest(s) that will share their DEI project/program.

Will there be a virtual option?

Yes! Campus partners can also join us by logging into zoom. The virtual option is offered only during the formal presentations and will be turned off during the follow-up conversation portion with the in-person attendees.
