Beth Morris:

In today’s face-paced world, mental health often takes a backseat, especially for women who often wear many hats.  But focusing on combating anxiety and depression allows you to be present in your life and accomplish your goals with much less worry on the way to success.  This seminar will provide information on the negative thinking process, the similarities and differences of anxiety and depression, and mindfulness and its impact.

With Master’s degree in Social Work and Public Administration and previous positions in School of Social Work, Beth has years of experience helping people.  She now works in MSU’s Employee Assistance Program, where she contributes to the program’s emotional assistance for MSU employees.  Beth’s knowledge focuses on self-injury and suicide prevention, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and crisis management.  For more information on Beth’s background, see:  https://eap.msu.edu/staff/beth-morris
