The College of Osteopathic Medicine presents the Dr. William G. Anderson Lecture Series, Slavery to Freedom: An American Odyssey. This is the Sixteenth annual Vising Faculty Lecture Series. Today’s lecture is going to be given by Cornel West, a thought provoking speaker, social commentator, and academic who has written more than 20 books. He is best know for his classics Race Matters and Democracy Matters. Professor West’s work examines the crossroads of race, gender, and class in American society.
