Wharton Center will be hosting another Zoom Meet & Greet with internationally acclaimed Latinx pop artist Gina Chavez, similar to the one we hosted for Hadestown, and we would love for you to attend!
This event will take place on Wednesday, February 16 at 6pm.
Gina Chavez is a multi-ethnic, Austin native, queer, Catholic, internationally-acclaimed Latinx pop artist who is redefining Latin music in Texas and beyond. She is a 12-time Austin Music Award Winner – including 2015 Musician of the Year and 2019 Best Female Vocals. Her NPR Tiny Desk appearance received over a million views, and she isn’t slowing down!
In 2019, she hosted a special virtual Wharton Center Facebook concert that introduced her to mid-Michigan audiences. Since then, local fans have been asking for her to return.
The interactive virtual conversation is an opportunity to learn more about Chavez before her scheduled appearance at Wharton Center on Friday, February 25 and 26. *(Her February 26 performance will be in Spanish).
Participants will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the performance date of your choice to see Gina Chavez, February 25 or February 26.
