Each year on the third Monday in January, Michigan State University faculty, students, and staff join with members of the Lansing community to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

- Student Leadership Conference, 10:00 a.m., Ballroom, MSU Union
- Dr. King and Civil Rights in the Age of Black Lives Matter Social Justice, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Erickson Kiva
- Commemorative March, 3:15 p.m., begins at the Ballroom, MSU Union heading to Beaumont Tower
- Civil and Human Rights Exhibit and Artistic Student Performance, 4:15 p.m., MSU Museum. (No pre-registration required.)
- Community Scholarship Dinner, Hubbard Hall Dining Room, doors open at 4:45 p.m. Reservation forms will be available soon.
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Endowed Scholarship application deadline: February 28, 2017
