BMike is inviting a small group of passionate students to have a virtual conversation with him on Thursday, February 17th 2-3pm. “Brandan “BMIKE” Odums is a New Orleans-based visual artist who, through exhibitions, public programs, and public art works, is engaged in a transnational dialogue about the intersection of art and resistance”. He’s a Black American male artist and activist, would love to meet with students to discuss social change.
BMIKE would love to work with Undergraduate and Graduate students who have experience with or are strongly interested in social justice advocacy, social impact-driven work, community engagement, or other forms of leadership. He is excited to meet with creatives or those who have a background in art practice, but you don’t need this background to participate. This opportunity is open to everyone though we strongly encourage students of color and folks with multiple marginalized identities to participate.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
A maximum of 18 students will be part of this conversation, so please fill out this form if you are interested.
