SPARTAN REMIX 2017

This huge cultural festival creates a space for multicultural organizations to come together in celebration and education of their communities with the larger MSU community.

This year’s theme, “Inside Our DNA (Defining a New America)” speaks to the possibilities when our communities find that the very things that make us individuals, can also bring us together. Through music, art and culture, we will define America to be more inclusive and equitable for everyone.

This event is coordinated by the Office of Cultural & Academic Transitions (OCAT) and executed through the collective effort of a diverse group of MSU students who have been working hard all summer long. This event would not be possible without the support of our sponsors: Associated Students of Michigan State University (ASMSU), Bubble Island, Council of Racial & Ethnic Students (CORES), Residence Halls Association (RHA), Residential & Hospitality Services (RHS), Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives (OIII), and Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs & Services (VPSA).
