We would like to cordially invite you, your friends, and your family to Michigan State University Vietnamese Student Association’s largest event of the year: The 6th Annual VSA By Night: Many Voices, One Land (Nhiều Giọng Nói, Một Vùng Đất)!
(╯✧ ∇ ✧)╯ This year’s theme, “Nhiều Giọng Nói, Một Vùng Đất,” entails the unity and community of all people, no matter the background, story, or journey we each took to get here. As a continuation of the 2020-2021 theme, “Eternal Legacies – Di Sản Đời Đời,” we want to highlight the importance of ancestral legacies and movements others have set for us, as well as the path we are setting for future generations.

Our event will be held at the MSU Horticulture Gardens – North Gardens + Conservatory on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM, with doors opening at 5:15PM. There will be authentic Vietnamese cuisine provided with registration costs, and the dress code will be formal/black-tie apparel.
☾*✲⋆. Registration forms will be available in the following week, so keep an eye out for that!
***PARKING will be on a first-come, first-serve basis at Lot #46. Parking maps for additional lots will be created and released at a later time.
✨ Along with MSU VSA performances, we will also be having a variety of groups performing at this year’s culture show, including:
☆ Grand Valley State University Vietnamese Cultural Association
☆ Lansing’s Spring Rolls Dance Crew
☆ Michigan State University’s CTRL+A
☆ Michigan State University’s Spartan Diablo
☆ University of Houston Vietnamese Student Association
☆ University of Michigan Vietnamese Student Association
☆ Wayne State Vietnamese Student Association

A large portion of our proceeds will go to the Asian Prisoner Support Committee (APSC), which provides direct support to Asian and Pacific Islander (API) prisoners and raises awareness about the growing number of APIs being wrongfully imprisoned, detained, and deported.

Additionally, our COVID-19 event guidelines will be posted in the future to notify you all, and to keep our attendees, performers, and guests at our event as safe as possible. Our culture show will be filled with performances, raffles, and other cultural elements. You definitely don’t wanna miss this opportunity!
✨ We’re very excited to share what our executive board has been planning for this event-filled night, and we hope to see you there! For any questions, concerns, or inquiries, please feel free to contact the Culture Show Directors, Alisha Phan & Kayla Bui, at phanalis@msu.edu and buikayla@msu.edu, respectively, or directly message the MSU VSA Facebook Page.
