NSSC Upcoming Study Tables and mini-workshops

  • Brody Square Mini-Workshop/Study Table: Tuesday 11/5
  • 6:30 to 8:30 pm in Brody Rooms 172 and 173 (mini-workshops) and 143 (study table)
  • Short workshops focused on academic time management with follow up study tables to help you get your schedule organized and get help from Undergraduate Educators on how to study for your social sciences and natural sciences (including math) courses.
  • East Neighborhood Mini-Workshop/Study Table During Late Night Advising: Wednesday, 11/20
  • 5:30 to 8:30 pm in the East Neighborhood Engagement Center and room G28 (study table) In Hubbard Hall
  • Short workshops that focus on effective ways to improve your academic  success. They are followed by facilitated study tables where students can apply information learned in the workshop and get study help from the Undergraduate Educators!

COLLABORATIVE LEARNING CENTER

There are a variety of summer opportunities available for students. Programs are hosted by colleges and universities around the United States and the world. They provide an intensive research experience on a particular topic within a scholarly discipline. For undergraduates with plans for graduate or professional school after MSU, summer research provides the opportunity to expand your professional network and acquire experience in an area of interest. In this workshop, you will learn more about summer research, the benefits of participation, and effective search strategies, including how to find and apply for opportunities.
